Integrated fire and gas detection system for 10 rescue boats for The oil Kashagan field explored by Agip KCO

On the ships designed to evacuate people from danger zone there were installed following:

• 77 gas detectors CO2, H2S, CH i O2
• 4 Dettronics X3301 flame detectors
• expanded system of heat and smoke sensors
  

As a alarm source anti explosion version of alarm beacons were installed:

• Combined sound and light alert beacons BExCS110
• Alert lights L101 IS

System is integrated with main communication Autrolon bus. Data collected by 2 central units BS320 /Panel A i B/ are presented on the color graphic AutroOS terminal.

Panel A located on the command bridge is delivering information about the state of whole integrated fire and gas detection system IFG.

Panel B is connected to the gas detectors. It gives info about threat of gas concentration and fire to the crew of the rescue boat.

On the large LCD display of each the panels there are two main groups of information:

• Information about threat of gas concentration and fire
• Information about self diagnostics test results of the whole system – Selfverify function.
  
• With main ModBus communication bus all information goes to the supreme data system.
  

Those systems are part of Kashagan artificial islands system on Caspian sea Systemy developed by petro chemic company AGIP KCO. Systems were design, developed and tested under a supervision of Det Norske Veritas DnV.
